From these pages we hope to give you a glimpse of what makes the Sedgemoor Model Boat Club one of the most active in the South West.

Our home water is the Apex Lake, which is situated between Highbridge and Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset. Apex is a fairly large body of water, ideal for all forms of model boating (sorry no I/C powered boats). We enjoy the benefits of a very large free car park with modern on site toilets. We hold regular boating meetings at the lake for Yacht racing (1 Meter class), Fast Electric racing (Formula 3 class) and Scale (mostly electric powered) radio controlled model boats.
