Club Photos in 2009

This was great success with many Tone Valley MBC members attending on the night. It was helped by perfect weather, not something we’ve had on many Scale nights this summer. I counted about 20 boats on the water or on display plus a couple of hovercrafts running in and out of the lake! These were great – why don’t we have hovercrafts or any amphibious crafts in our club as we have such a big ramp going right into to lake?

Everyone who came along really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere a chance to have a chat with a few old faces – we plan to do it again next summer.

We had a very good turnout considering this was a working day with 10 members in attendance who between them brought some 40 boats for display. We had everything from 1M yachts, FE boats, an array of Scale boats, plus a few Sea-Jets. During the day most were on the water at some point with the inevitable “can I have a go Mr” being asked many times! It was a really good day which showed our hobby to the many children and did no harm for the clubs PR.
