Scale Steering (4 meetings)

There are two classes, Large and Small Class, which is based upon the overall size of your boat. You must pilot your boat following a planned route through an obstacle course with at least 6 obstacles/gates. You’ll be scored penalty points for each and every touch on a buoy/obstacle.

The winner is the person who receives the lowest penalty score. Boats are not timed – it’s not a race!

Blind Steering (1 meeting)

This competition is always great fun! All entries on the night are “put into a hat” and drawn into pairs. One person operating a boat stands with his/her back to the lake, while their partner tries to give them directions to drive in the quickest time through a very simple course.

Sound easy and looks easy – until you try it yourself! Points are awarded to the person giving the directions.
