Sedgemoor has a very active model yachting section which sail throughout the year on the Apex Lake. The main class sailed is the 1 metre class although events for other classes are included into the very busy schedule.
The club is lucky to have some very experienced skippers who compete at National meetings.
At club level there are many race meetings all year around. The Winter Series is held fortnightly on Sunday mornings from November until March. During the Summer months meetings are held on many Sundays (both morning and all day events) and on Wednesday evenings.
